The Secret to the Sparkle: Behind the Scenes of Metro Stars Showcase
Ever wonder how the magic happens? ✨ While our athletes are busy perfecting their tucks and turns, there’s a whole world of planning happening behind the scenes to get us ready for the big showcase on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17!
The road to the Showcase actually starts over a year in advance. Our team begins brainstorming a theme long before our Annual Staff Summit. Once that theme is picked, it becomes the heartbeat of everything we do: it fuels our Summit, sets the stage for our Showcase, and carries that energy all the way through summer!
Once the vision is set, our “Gym-Squad” goes into full gear:
• The Look: We design custom leotards and t-shirts, set up our Shopify store, and launch a dedicated website to keep you in the loop. Our team handles all the heavy lifting; sorting, bagging, and tagging every piece of apparel so it’s ready for easy distribution to your athlete!
• The Awards: Every year, we design a special commemorative medal just for the Showcase. Every single child receives one for participating because we love celebrating their hard work and success!
• The Vibe: Our marketing department isn’t just at their desks designing the marketing materials. They are actually building the props and ordering decorations that transform each gym into a stage.
• The Moves: Our talented Directors choreograph every routine with heart. They teach our coaches, who then pass those skills to your kids in class.
Practice makes progress! To help every student feel confident and ready to shine, we upload videos so your athletes can practice their moves at home. We love watching our athletes “learn and grow” journey as they prepare for their big moment.
