Big News in Elkhorn: Play with a Purpose!

April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we have a very special reason to celebrate. We are officially welcoming Metro Stars Therapy to our Elkhorn location!

At Metro Stars, our foundation is built on recreational gymnastics that celebrates every child. We believe every child deserves to feel the thrill of a big bounce and the pride that comes with mastering a new skill. By bringing Occupational Therapy (OT) into our gym, we’re making those milestones even more reachable for our community while strengthening our commitment to inclusive, child-focused movement.

Gymnastics and OT are the perfect pair. Both focus on building confidence, coordination, and strength through active discovery. By connecting these two worlds, we’ve created a space where children of all abilities can learn, grow, and shine..

“The main occupation of childhood is play,” says Elizabeth Lilla, co-owner of Metro Stars Gymnastics and a licensed occupational therapist. “When therapy feels like play, kids are more engaged and progress follows.”

Metro Stars Therapy is designed to be exactly that: fun! We’re using our vibrant, safe, and energizing facility to help kids reach their developmental milestones in the same fun environment where they love to flip and climb.
