Celebrating National Gymnastics Day at Metro Stars! 🥳
Every year on the third Saturday of September, gym floors around the world turn into giant celebrations for National Gymnastics Day!
USA Gymnastics launched this tradition back in 1998 to raise awareness about the sport, build community, and showcase the incredible physical and mental benefits gymnastics offers kids of all ages. In 2012, gymnasts across the country even set a record by getting over 44,000 participants to turn upside down at the exact same time! 🙃
At Metro Stars, gymnastics is our foundation for building strong, confident, and resilient kids. We love guiding every athlete through child-focused skill progressions, helping them learn at their own pace while having a total blast. National Gymnastics Day gives us the perfect opportunity to celebrate our amazing athletes, coaches, and families!

💙 Meet Cosmo! Say hello to our brand-new mascot, Cosmo! Grab a coloring sheet and join our mascot coloring contest to help us welcome them to the Metro Stars family.
💙 Gymnastics Trivia: Test your gymnastics knowledge with a fun trivia quiz.
💜 Maple Parents’ Night Out (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM): Drop off the kiddos at our Maple location for four hours of games, gymnastics, and fun while you enjoy a well-deserved evening out!
💚 Papillion Open Gym (6:00 PM – 7:30 PM): Bring the kids over to Metro Stars Papillion for open gym, games and gymnastics fun as we celebrate the sport we love!
🩵 Elkhorn Open Gym (4:00 PM – 5:30 PM): Join us at Metro Stars Elkhorn for open gym time: burn off some weekend energy and jump on the trampolines.
🩵 The Elkhorn Cartwheel Challenge: Help us reach our goal! We are aiming to land 300 cartwheels in a single day at our Elkhorn facility. Every cartwheel counts!
