Marching Toward Life Without Limits
We’re kicking off March with a huge goal and an even bigger heart! This month, Metro Stars is proud to partner with UCP of Nebraska.
Their mission? Helping Nebraskans with disabilities live a “Life Without Limits.” From lending libraries with 1,000+ adapted toys to building community for local families, they are all about independence and fun – just like us!
How you can help:
Every time someone hits the floor this month at an open gym, it makes a difference. 20% of all March Open Gym proceeds go directly to UCP of Nebraska.
- Tech Tools: They manage 12 lending libraries across Nebraska with over 1,050 adapted toys and devices to help kids participate independently at home and school.
- Family Focus: They serve nearly 2,000 people annually through events that build community for families facing similar challenges.
- Direct Impact: Just $50 provides a sensory-stimulating switch for an adapted toy, and $150 can replace a battery for an electric wheelchair.

That is over $2k providing hot meals, emergency shelter, and support for Omaha youth in crisis. Our community’s generosity is what keeps our mission moving. We are so proud of our Metro Stars family for showing up and giving back! 👏
