Ready, Set, Shine: The Metro Stars League is Back!
There’s something exciting happening at Metro Stars Gymnastics…. another season of the Metro Stars League! Gymnastics competitions can sometimes feel big and complex, especially when combined with long, expensive road trips! Metro Stars has created a unique, local format designed just for our athletes.
What’s the Vibe?
Our goal isn’t about chasing perfection or stress; it’s about learning and growing in a supportive, low-pressure environment; think of the League as a “pre-season” celebration. Whether your gymnast is mastering a new skill, conquering nerves, or just excited to show off what they’ve learned, we are here to celebrate every win – big or small! We aren’t looking for perfection or polished routines just yet —we’re looking for courage, growth, and fun!

- Celebrating Every Win: Whether it’s mastering a new skill, improving a score, or simply having the confidence to perform in front of a crowd, we celebrate it all.
- The Full Experience: Our recreational Gymnasts will perform their routines on all four events: Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor, while T&T athletes will perform Floor, Trampoline, Single Mini, and Double Mini.
- Team Spirit: Athletes are grouped by level to compete in a friendly environment against one of the other Metro Stars teams. Our goal is to help athletes overcome nerves and get comfortable with judges and spectators in a safe, controlled environment.
- Expert Feedback: Our very own Metro Stars coaches act as judges, providing a Meet Feedback Card at the end of each meet. This gives them an “inside look” at what judges are looking for and athletes can see exactly where they are shining and where they can keep growing.
- The Celebration: To wrap up the season, every participant receives a medal to commemorate their achievements!
Exciting Updates for Spring!
The league season includes three “meets” where gymnasts compete against one other team at their level. We are kicking things off in late April, and we have a huge surprise: new this year, we’re partnering our spring league with our annual showcase! As a special perk, League gymnasts have the exclusive opportunity to purchase their annual showcase registration and apparel before all other athletes—and at a discounted price. It’s the perfect way to gear up for our biggest event of the year!
The League is the perfect “stepping stone” for athletes to dip their toes into the competitive side of the sport while building major confidence. It’s about the courage to perform and the joy of the sport all while building team spirit! We invite all our parents and spectators to join us in keeping the atmosphere positive and encouraging. Let’s make this season the amazing progress our gymnasts are making – we can’t wait to see our gymnasts shine!
